Eddie Minshull brings over thirty years of experience and proven telecom and technology leadership to the Accedian Networks’ Board of Directors. His extensive experience with both vendors and operators stems from several executive and managerial positions including CEO MLL Telecom (UK licensed Wireless Operator), EVP Worldwide Field Operations Juniper Networks, President Northern Europe Alcatel and in his earlier career senior positions at Granada Group and Thorn-EMI.
Prior to MLL Telecom, Eddie was Executive Vice President Worldwide Field Operations at Juniper Networks, where he was responsible for global Sales, Services and Partner operations with annualized revenues of c.$3.5bn
Earlier in his career, Eddie worked for Newbridge Networks as Executive President N. America based in Washington DC and was an integral part of the executive team who steered through the acquisition with Alcatel. He also held several executive positions at Compaq Computer Corp in Houston and London as well as Granada Group and Thorn-EMI in Europe.
In addition to his Board Member duties with Accedian Networks Eddie is also a non-executive Board member of Gigaclear a UK Service Provider of fiber to the home (FTTH) and Chairman of ONZO a UK based provider of smart technology and services to Utilities in the growing Energy Market. Eddie was a non-Executive Chairman of Secerno, a company that was focused on data-base security which was sold to Oracle in 2010. He was also for a time, whilst at Juniper, on the Board of Xsigo which was also acquired by Oracle in 2012. Furthermore, Eddie acts as Advisor to a number of other Technology businesses across Europe.
Eddie, who lives in Oxford UK, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies (Hons) from the University of North Staffordshire.
