Recognized for their scalable NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) PM (Performance Monitoring) Solution for Cloud-based Services

Accedian has been awarded with a Carrier Network Virtualization Award in the Cutting Edge Proof of Concept category with RIFT.io, the open source network service orchestration experts.

Winners were announced during the Carrier Network Virtualization Industry Awards ceremony, yesterday December 6th, as part of the 4th Annual Carrier Network Virtualization event in Palo Alto, California.

The scalable NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) PM (Performance Monitoring) Solution for Cloud-based Services POC has been completed and demonstrated at MEF16 which took place in November.

In this proof of concept, Accedian’s SkyLIGHT VCX™ virtualized performance assurance controller (vPAC), the industry’s first fully-virtualized performance assurance platform, is combined with RIFT.io’s RIFT.ware, an ETSI-compliant NFV management and network orchestration (MANO) solution. Together they address the performance assurance requirements, simplify deployment of virtual network functions (VNFs) to satisfy customer SLAs, and offer a highly scalable and elastically resilient life cycle managed NFV architecture.
