How is virtual CPE impacting the cable MSO industry?
One of the big trends that nobody can deny is the rapid commoditization of Ethernet services: 1GB, 10GB bandwidth prices going down. The price for 1GB and 10GB is really plummeting really, really fast right now. At the same time, customers want more guarantees in terms of performance. It’s really interesting to see that. As a result, service providers are really stuck between a rock and a hard place. They really have to do much more with much less.
