SÃO PAULO, Brazil – September 16, 2021 – Accedian, a leader in performance analysis, cybersecurity threat detection and end-user experience solutions, announces that it has been selected by Univox – an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and owned by the telecommunications holding company EB Fibra – to provide its cloud-based network analysis and performance monitoring solution, SkylightTM.
The choice for Accedian’s solution is part of the Minas Gerais ISP’s network evolution plans and may be extended to the EB Fibra group, thus enabling them to raise their market position and become more competitive by guaranteeing offers of internet services to its customers, with the same standard and quality reference of global operators.
“We are very excited that Accedian has been selected as one of Univox’s strategic suppliers,” says Antonio Zamprogno, Accedian’s Sales Vice-President and Country Manager for Brazil. “With our SkylightTM network analysis and performance monitoring solution, Univox will be able to increase the speed of the fiber optic internet services implementation provided to its customers, and at the same time be able to identify and resolve many network problems in advance,” highlights Antonio.
Accedian’s solution will bring Univox more end-to-end visibility into its network, helping to quickly detect intermittent degradations and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that impact each user. Univox will also be able to act more efficiently in the reduction of mean time between failures (MTBF) and in the mean time to repair (MTTR) for critical issues, which will help ensure the continuity of ISP services and improve the Quality of Experience (QoE), thus minimizing the subscriber churn.

Accedian’s SkylightTM is a network analysis and performance monitoring solution that can be used to meet the needs for the network evolution and expansion of ISP networks in Minas Gerais. The solution can also be easily extended to the other operations of the telecommunications holding company, EB Fibra.
