Accedian Wins Best Service Analytics Solution at the 2018 MEF Awards

MEF recognizes new Accedian SkyLIGHT DataHUB IQ solution for excellence and innovation in analytics for real-time service performance assurance

Los Angeles, California – October 31, 2018 Accedian, the end-to-end network performance experts, announced today that its SkyLIGHT DataHUB IQ analytics solution has won the Service Analytics Award at this year’s MEF Awards.  The winners were announced on October 30 at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles, California, during the annual MEF18 global networking event.

The Service Analytics Award-  is awarded by the MEF to the analytics solution that has demonstrated excellence and innovation to intelligently automate the configuration and allocation of network resources in real-time, and to proactively deliver service assurance for demanding applications in complex networking environments.

The new SkyLIGHT DataHUB IQ service analytics solution provides a unified view of the behaviour and performance of a network, the applications and services running on it, and also the quality of service that customers are experiencing.

DataHUB IQ combines and correlates highly granular active and passive monitoring metrics from multiple sources across the network. It uses machine learning to detect anomalies from baseline performance, in order to provide insight into network behaviour and issues, and to predict future network issues before they occur.

“The move towards closed-loop network automation and the increase of cloud-native network functions has created a pressing need among service providers for new analytics-based monitoring software that can provide full visibility of service availability and performance across physical and virtual  networks – in real time and in context,” said Accedian CEO Patrick Ostiguy. “Our new Accedian SkyLIGHT DataHUB IQ platform is a single unified solution with which network and IT operations teams can obtain accurate and actionable insight into their network and also the services running over it.”

“We’re delighted to receive this award from the MEF, which recognises the value and performance benefits of SkyLIGHT DataHUB IQ in enabling service providers to proactively monitor network performance, service quality and user experience: and to also predict, identify and prevent issues across their network before they occur,” Ostiguy continued.

SkyLIGHT DataHUB IQ is available today and trials of the product are already underway globally.
